Victory Square is a seed round venture capital firm and technology accelerator that’s building the future tech giants.

With real skin in the game and strong insider ownership, management is aligned with its investors. It drives value by monetizing investments and reinvesting the gains in new innovations. With 25 portfolio companies, 6 of which are now hitting liquidity events generating an almost 9x return on our capital/cash committed.

Peter has been involved with this venture build studio and accelerator for over a decade. Partnering with the CEO and Founder, Shafin Diamond Tejani, Peter has worked with 100s of companies internationally, while headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia in the Pacific Northwest. Peter has worked with startups and enterprise companies globally, and in most cases migrated them to North America to work closely with Victory Square’s team in operations, GTM, financing, and more to thrive, securing customers and partnerships to drive growth and shareholder value.

Peter and I met a decade ago. He’d spent a dozen years prior working in enterprise software globally and was pitching me a startup. I didn’t invest in the company. But I did build a relationship with him. Eventually I invited him to join Victory Square as a board member, where startups in the Pacific NorthWest and globally could leverage his expertise in GTM, Sales, and Channel & Partnerships.

Peter’s impact on some of Victory Square’s portfolio companies has been instrumental to their growth and scaling, as well as securing considerable institutional funding from venture capital and investment banks.

What separates Peter from all of the other operators I know who launch their companies and shape the future of other startups is that he gets his hands dirty. If there are bodies to bury, he’ll bury them. If there are hard conversations to be had, he’ll make sure they happen. And he cares deeply for all the stakeholders in company he’s active in.
